BARRET'S ESOPHAGUS: THE CONTEMPORARY MORPHOLOGICAL ASPECTS

The article presents the contemporary view on the ethological factor and pathogenesis of Barret's esophagus. The modern classification of Barret's esophagus is given. The role of biopsy in the diagnostic of Barret's esophagus and impotence of types of metaplasia and dysplasia of epithelium in the choice of follow$up and treatment of patients is shown.
